About The Position

Respiratory Therapist Full Time Now hiring for the 8:30am-5pm shift! The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing and team-oriented individual for a Full Time Respiratory Therapist position. This is an exciting position and key clinical role, providing staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis. The Respiratory Therapist reports to the Director of Nursing Education and Quality Assurance and is responsible for the coordination and implementation of resident care on assigned units. Some of your daily activities will include resident a ssessments, treatment, and implementing interventions of Respiratory Therapist scope of practice. Requirements

• Current New York State Respiratory Therapist license
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (2 years preferable)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Strong communication and follow up skills
