About The Position
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a special full time Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for our Respiratory Department. The Respiratory Therapist performs usual and advanced respiratory therapy techniques as described in the Policy & Procedure Manual. The primary function is to treat, perform diagnostic tests, evaluate therapy, and make recommendations to the physician related to the respiratory system.
Requirements
- Training for RRT equivalent to two or more year’s undergraduate work is preferred.
- Has successfully completed the Registered Respiratory Therapist exam administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy strongly preferred.
- Previous work experience as staff therapist is desired.
