About The Position

Brookings Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team to deliver the best possible care! Compensation range for this position is $27.67 to $40.97 per hour, based on experience. Duties include operating stationary and portable X-Ray equipment, preparing rooms for procedures, and providing patient services using digital radiography (DR) and computed tomography (CT). Schedule will include one weekend shift a month. Additional hours may become available per business needs. In this position, you provide quality diagnostic testing, treatments, and therapies to inpatients and outpatients in a hospital setting relating to conditions of the cardiac and pulmonary systems. Candidate must be a graduate of an AMA approved program of respiratory care with an RRT or CRT licensure from NBRC and licensed in the state of South Dakota. NRP, CPR and ACLS certification is required. Incumbent must be proficient in a multidisciplinary department to include treatment, assessment and diagnosis of conditions related to the cardiopulmonary systems of infant to adults. Requirements

  • graduate of an AMA approved program of respiratory care with an RRT or CRT licensure from NBRC
  • licensed in the state of South Dakota
  • NRP, CPR and ACLS certification
