Respiratory Therapist (PRN)Join Our Mission-Driven Team in Pediatric Complex Care As a PRN Respiratory Therapist at the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center at Home of the Innocents, you'll work with medically complex children and young adults in a dynamic, trauma-informed pediatric facility. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering respiratory care to residents with conditions such as trach dependency, ventilator needs, seizure disorders, and developmental disabilities. Requirements

  • Current KY licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (or ability to obtain)
  • Registered with NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Willingness to work PRN hours including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Ability to pass background, drug screen, and medical records verification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with ventilators and trachs preferred
  • Pediatric or long-term care experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen delivery, trach and ventilator care, suctioning, and nebulizer treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff on individualized care plans
  • Respond to emergent respiratory needs with professionalism and compassion
  • Support safe, engaging environments by monitoring and maintaining respiratory equipment
