About The Position

Located in Newport News, VA, we are a 450-bed level II trauma facility with a level III NICU and multiple ICUs. As a respiratory therapist at RRMC, you’ll receive 8-12 weeks of comprehensive orientation, training in our respiratory-driven protocols. Post-training, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team to provide exceptional care to our patients. What you will do Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, implementing, and evaluating the treatment and procedures that contribute to the Respiratory Care Plan. Completes all documentation and assures all orders are current, completed or discontinued. Participates and assists in meetings, projects and in-services relative to improvement of RHS Respiratory Care Services. Utilizes proper infection control techniques in performance of duties and in accordance with departmental procedures. Works with physicians and nurses to create treatment plans. Evaluates progress of the treatment. Requirements

  • Associates Degree, Respiratory Therapy or Related Field (Required)
