About The Position
Position Overview Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist in Gainesville, FL. In this role, you will deliver high-quality respiratory care in a state-of-the-art acute care environment. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team committed to exceptional patient outcomes and clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience (acute care preferred—ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care). Home care or long-term care experience considered.
- Active Florida Respiratory Care License.
- RRT or CRT (NBRC) – Required
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Within 30 days of hire
- PALS – Within 30 days of hire
- NRP – Within 30 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage routine and advanced respiratory care therapies and equipment
- Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Monitor patient responses, side effects, and medication dosages
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and equipment use
