Requirements

• Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration
• Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology
• Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius)
• Dependable and reliable—clinic partners, patients, and coworkers can count on you
• Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with change and evolving schedules, technology, and workflows
• Personable and professional with a natural ability to build rapport
• A team player who enjoys being part of a tight-knit RT community and is proud to represent a growing healthcare company
• Passionate about respiratory care and delivering excellent patient experiences
• Available two to five days per week

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device
• Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy
• Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review
• Monitor patient safety during procedures
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols
• Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site
