About The Position

The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for coordination and administration of all modes of respiratory therapy, cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas monitoring. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence of all techniques and values in the treatment of neonates, infants, and pediatric, adult and geriatric patients within the scope of the Cardiopulmonary Department.

Requirements

  • Current California licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Experience with cardiac testing such as ECGs, stress testing and holter monitors.
  • Neonatal ICU
  • Arterial blood gas puncture and analysis

Our program is operational from 7:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, and is approved for children aged 0 to 5 years. After submitting your application, our Child Care Director will get in touch with you about your acceptance into the program. Once approved, we will start the enrollment process. PDH employees take priority on our waiting list.
