About The Position

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (acute care preferred: ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care). Home care or long-term care considered
- Licensure: Active Florida Respiratory Care License
- Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – NBRC BLS required upon hire ACLS within 30 days PALS within 30 days NRP within 30 days
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage both routine and advanced respiratory care therapies
- Operate and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment
- Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Assess patient responses, side effects, and medication dosages
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans, therapies, and equipment
