Respiratory Therapists at Rice Memorial Hospital are part of a diverse and dynamic team that provide personalized and compassionate care in Willmar Minnesota. You will assess and treat inpatients and outpatients requiring airway assistance and administering diagnostic procedures, complete vent management, transport, conscious sedations, and blood gas analysis. You will have the ability to share input and discuss orders with providers to meet patient needs as well as mentor new graduates that start their careers with our team.

Requirements

• Graduate of a two or four year Respiratory Care Program (preferably through CoARC).
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of MN or temporary RT permit.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy, can be obtained upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat inpatients and outpatients requiring airway assistance.
• Administer diagnostic procedures and complete vent management.
• Transport patients and perform conscious sedations.
• Conduct blood gas analysis.
• Share input and discuss orders with providers to meet patient needs.
• Mentor new graduates starting their careers with the team.

Benefits

• Pay starting at $40.60 per hour, pay determined by experience.
• Pay range: $37.84 - $56.77 per hour.
• Earn an additional $2.00 per hour during Evening shifts and weekends; $2.75 for Night shifts.
• PTO accrual.
