About The Position
Bellevue Healthcare is a customer service-oriented company with over 17 locations across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, and we are still growing! We are currently seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at our new Central Oregon location. This position is crucial as it involves evaluating the respiratory needs of patients in both home and facility settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in homecare and hospital environments, ensuring that patients receive high-level care and education regarding their respiratory health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for the delivery and setup of various respiratory devices, including Bi-Level, CPAP, Trach, conserving devices, hi-flow oxygen, and non-invasive ventilators. You will instruct and educate patients and their caregivers on the safe and proper use of this equipment, ensuring they understand how to manage their respiratory needs effectively. Additionally, you will conduct in-services and instruction sessions with hospice programs and nurses, providing essential training and support. The role also includes some sales and marketing responsibilities, where you will engage with sleep centers and respiratory departments at local hospitals to promote our services. You will be involved in tracheotomy setups and education, as well as providing phone support for our Respiratory Department. Compliance coaching for CPAP/BIPAP will also be part of your duties, ensuring that patients adhere to their prescribed therapies.
