Respiratory Therapist Team Lead Full Time Nights NCB
About The Position
Coordinates assignments of Respiratory Care Staff. Provides supervision of staff in the absence of Coordinator/Director. Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
Requirements
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care program
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of respiratory care clinical experience.
- Possession of current RCP State of Texas License
- Possession of current CRT / RRT Certification from NBRC Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002)
- Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role
- AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering pedi
- AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering nicu
