About The Position

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Summary Coordinates assignments of Respiratory Care Staff. Provides supervision of staff in the absence of Coordinator/Director. Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care program
• 1 year of respiratory care clinical experience
• Possession of current RCP State of Texas License
• Possession of current CRT / RRT Certification from NBRC Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002)
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role
• AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering pedi
• AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering nicu
