What You’ll Do As the Adult Respiratory Care Team Lead, you’ll serve as a clinical and technical leader for Respiratory Therapists working in adult care settings. You’ll help guide daily operations, support safe and effective practice, and continue to deliver bedside care when needed. Your responsibilities include: Providing clinical and technical leadership for Adult Respiratory Care staff. Ensuring effective daily operations, including staffing support, workflow coordination, and equipment readiness. Delivering respiratory care under physician orders, including: All oxygen and aerosol therapies Airway management and intubation Arterial puncture and blood gas analysis Mechanical ventilation for adult patients Assessing adult patients, planning care, implementing therapy, and evaluating effectiveness. Facilitating rental and management of respiratory equipment as needed. Promoting high standards of teamwork, respect, safety, and patient‑centered care aligned with the WakeWay to Excellence. Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Active North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner License
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
5 Years Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Required
Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
