Requirements

  • Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License – State of California.
  • Experience with mechanical ventilation and sub-acute care is highly preferred.
  • A professional clinician who thrives in a high-standards, 5-star environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and administer medically prescribed respiratory therapy to restore function and alleviate pain.
  • Expertly operate mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas apparatus, and aerosol generators.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, interpret results, and consult with physicians to determine optimal treatment plans.
  • Perform bronchopulmonary drainage, assist with breathing exercises, and monitor vital signs, ABGs, and blood chemistry changes.
  • Direct treatments performed by aides and technicians while evaluating patient progress and recommending necessary adjustments.
