About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join their team. Vibra Hospital of Fargo, located in Fargo, ND, is a 31-bed Critical Care Hospital that provides acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. These patients often require critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The hospital offers a fast-paced and friendly work environment where staff can build strong relationships with patients and their families. The role comes with a $10,000 bonus for full-time employees and access to a new Clinical Career Ladder, which offers pay increases upon successful completion of Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert levels.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of the department's policy/procedure manual.
• Performing support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, and inventory.
• Setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.
