Respiratory Therapist (RT)- Grow Our Own Program Pay is dependent on the position you work during school. This position is to be accepted into the Grow Our Own program. Hours: Will be based on the availability of open positions upon graduation What is a Respiratory Therapist (RT)? The Respiratory Therapist is tasked with administering a wide range of respiratory care services, catering to patients across all age groups, from infants to adults, while adapting treatments to individual diagnoses and needs. Their responsibilities encompass various modalities such as oxygen administration, nebulizer treatment, ventilator management, and specialized diagnostic studies, requiring both departmental and professional skills. Program Overview The intent of this program is to provide internal growth opportunities for current Alomere Health employees to take their career to the next level as a Respiratory Therapist at Alomere Health. Alomere Health will pay 100% of all expenses directly associated with tuition/books/scrubs/etc. This is a two (2) year Associate's degree. Employees will remain employed throughout their schooling. Department leadership will work with the employee to balance the work schedule with the school schedule. The employee’s current benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) will remain in place even though employee’s may be working less than their hired status (FTE). Benefit time off will continue to accrue based on hours paid. If the employee completes the RT program, but does not pass the Respiratory Therapist License, maintain passing grades (C or above), meet minimum program requirements or remain employed at least 0.5 FTE for three (3) years post-graduation, the employee will be responsible to pay back 100% of the employer paid program costs to Alomere Health. External Applicants: If selected, you would be hired into a part-time or casual role while attending school in this program. The position will depend on the availability of open positions.
