About The Position

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. POSITION SUMMARY The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program
• Possession of current RCP State of Texas License
• Possession of current CRT or RRT Certification from NBRC Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002)
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
• AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering Pedi.
• AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering NICU.

Nice To Haves
