About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, a 58 bed Critical Care Hospital located in Folsom, CA. We provide acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, often requiring additional critical care services for medically complex conditions. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you can build relationships with patients and their families. We have a new Clinical Career Ladder for Full Time Employees, allowing for career growth and pay increases after successful completion of various levels.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of the department's policy/procedure manual.
  • Perform support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, inventory.
  • Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.
