About The Position

Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality and accuracy. Also assures that all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedure and maintains confidentiality and HIPAA regulations with all patients. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced customer. Prior Pulmonary Function Tech, working with Patients that need to be providing oversite for our Pulmonary Service line. Communicates effectively with Multiple discipline Team. Service Excellence skills. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of a 2 – year associate degree AMA approved Respiratory Care program or equivalent, registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Must be licensed by the Florida Department of Health, Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Therapist in good standing.
  • Current BLS certification required
  • PALS (or obtained within 6 months of employment)
  • NRP required to work NICU
  • ACLS preferred
