The Respiratory Therapist (RT) III is an advanced level respiratory care practitioner with advanced assessment and therapeutic skills who can provide care to multiple patient populations. The RT III will provide quality care, develop, and ensure patient plan of care collaboration with the multidisciplinary team including physicians, registered nurses, and speech, occupational, and physical therapists. The RT III is a professional member of the team who can implement respiratory therapy independently and provide guidance to RT’s functioning as levels I and II. As a NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at MWHC, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized respiratory care to our most vulnerable patients. Specialized equipment such as 3100B oscillator, Servo N, nitric oxide administration, NIPPV and NIV NAVA will be among the equipment and therapies you should be familiar with.
