About The Position

We're looking for Respiratory Therapists at Sinai Hospital! New Rates for Summer 2025! JOB SUMMARY: Administers therapeutic gases, ventilator support, and various treatments, critical interventions and procedures such as chest physiotherapy, intubation, arterial line insertions, mini-BALS and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. Provides patient assessments, monitors treatment, collaborates, documents pertinent to patient care and condition.

Requirements

• Basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
• Working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Care.
• 3 years of experience.
• RCP Maryland Licensure.
• NBRC RRT within year of hire date.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• ACLS and PALS within year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapeutic gases and ventilator support.
• Performs various treatments and critical interventions.
• Conducts chest physiotherapy and intubation.
• Inserts arterial lines and performs mini-BALS.
• Conducts cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
• Provides patient assessments and monitors treatment.
• Collaborates and documents pertinent information related to patient care.
