About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lebanon, NH. An RRT offers highly specialized patient care services to a variety of critical care units and offers consult services to general surgical and medical floor units. Key Responsibilities: Coordinates with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and family in scheduling and providing treatments Documents patient interactions, and bills for services rendered Administers medications according to written orders and reports any adverse reactions to medications, using proper patient identification and medication documentation Responds to all codes, rapid response teams, emergencies, and patient transports as required Performs all blood gas tasks as required: drawing, analyzing, equipment maintenance, and QA/QC Performs mechanical ventilation management within specified guidelines, protocols, and physician orders Assures all equipment operates properly and is maintained according to manufacturer's specifications Drawing of arterial blood gases, analyzing ABGs and cord/venous/capillary samples Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

  • 2 years or more previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services as RRT is required
  • Graduate of an AMA-Approved School of Respiratory Therapy
  • Experience with Ventilators, ICU, ED, Blood Gases, Floor Therapies, Nebulizers and Inhalers is required
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SHIFT ALONE/INDEPENDENTLY!
  • EPIC experience is required
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
  • Perm address for traveler must be included in profile
  • Active American Heart Association BLS is required
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS is required
  • Active American Heart Association PALS is required
  • Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
