Requirements

• Recent graduate of a Respiratory Therapist school or two years of recent experience in a Tertiary Hospital.
• Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care required.
• Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver life-support and resuscitation therapy to critical care patients.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain clinical expertise for departmental assignments across various business units.
• Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and physicians regarding patient care needs.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Supervise and direct respiratory therapy students and externs as assigned.
• Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.
