About The Position

Job Summary / Duties As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide quality patient care as a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, therapists and nursing assistants.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and licensed in the State of AL.
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Critical Care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Must be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be positive and caring with a customer-service oriented attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Critical Care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan
- Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
- Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
- Perform timely and accurate documentation
- Promote continuous quality improvement
- Teach and counsel patients/families
