About The Position
Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians. The type of opportunity available is a SYSTEM WIDE SEASONAL TEAM position, which is a Full Time, Benefitted, Limited tenure Scripps employee role that supports assignments of 13 - 26 weeks. This position requires varied shifts, and candidates must be willing to work Days or Night Shift and float to any of the five hospitals located in San Diego. A completion bonus of $7K is available at the end of the initial 13-week assignment, with the potential for more if the contract is extended. The pay rate is a seasonal flat rate of $47.12. As a member of the Seasonal team, you will fill vital roles on a contract basis to provide critical coverage for peak seasonal demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice, collaborating with other caregivers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate action for respiratory care, performing all technical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care, and participating in quality control and performance improvement activities.
