About The Position
Our Respiratory Care Department at Corewell Health Grosse Pointe Hospital is dedicated to providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages. Our team of skilled respiratory therapists works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. The Registered Respiratory Therapist, under minimal direction, implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; and assists with general department functions. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280-bed acute care campus offering medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services, including The Cotton Family Birth Center and The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
- Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or American Red Cross Upon Hire required
Responsibilities
