About The Position

We are currently hiring for a Respiratory Therapist/Polysomnographer Tech II position for our main St. Paul Campus! This is a .4-.6 FTE with either 10- or 12-hour shifts; 2 days per week. If you do not have a current RPSGT, ideal candidate will be open to obtaining within 18 months from start date. The Polysomnographic Technologist, a registered RPSGT or RST with RRT/CRT, provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under the direction of a physician. This includes polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care, and education. This position would include the ability to do advanced testing of tracheostomy/ventilator patients, children under 2 years of age needing noninvasive positive pressure ventilation, and end stage neuromuscular patients. Compensation & Benefits Information The hourly wage for this opportunity is $37.99 to $56.98, with a median wage of $47.49. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care.
  • Must be credentialed through the National Board for Respiratory Care and license eligible in the State of MN.
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • If new hire holds valid CPR through another acceptable organization (as determined by Gillette), candidate may be able to begin employment but must complete Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association within one month of employment.
  • Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally
