About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist position at Salem Health involves providing care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues in a dynamic hospital environment. Requirements

• Successful completion of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist recognized by the NBRC.
• Valid Oregon licensure to practice as an RCP in Oregon.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues.
• Utilize various respiratory modalities including aerosol therapies, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and high flow oxygen therapy.
• Participate in training for pulmonary function testing, discharge navigation, NICU, and bronchoscopies.
• Collaborate with a team of respiratory practitioners to provide high-quality patient care.
