Join our dedicated team at Johns Hopkins Home Care Group as a Respiratory Therapist II, providing exceptional pulmonary care and respiratory equipment management directly in patients' homes. You'll work with patients across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics, delivering comprehensive respiratory care services including patient education, equipment management, and clinical assessments. Collaborating closely with our Senior Respiratory Therapist and multidisciplinary team, you'll ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest clinical standards per The Joint Commission (TJC), state, and departmental regulations. Your responsibilities include documenting patient visits, performing equipment maintenance, participating in on-call rotations, and educating patients and caregivers on proper equipment use and safety protocols.

  • Provide exceptional pulmonary care and respiratory equipment management in patients' homes.
  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care services including patient education and clinical assessments.
  • Collaborate with Senior Respiratory Therapist and multidisciplinary team.
  • Document patient visits and perform equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use and safety protocols.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current Virginia & Maryland State Board of Physicians licence required.
  • DC RT licence to be obtained post 90 days from employment.
  • Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical respiratory experience (hospital or home care setting).
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver's license.
