Specializes in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with pulmonary disorders. Implements and manages respiratory therapy treatment plans. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. May also measure the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function.

Requirements

Post Respiratory Care program graduate.
High School diploma or Graduate of an AMA Approved Respiratory Care Program - Associates.
Current NJ-RESP - New Jersey State Respiratory Care Board License.
Valid BLS
Per diem nightshours: 7p-7:30a with weekend/holiday rotation

Responsibilities

Assumes primary responsibility for respiratory care treatment.
