About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist position is a full-time role based in Statesville, NC, specifically within the Respiratory Care department. The shift is during the nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The therapist will work under the supervision of the Director and/or the Assistant Director of Respiratory Care. Upon the request of a physician, the therapist will set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment and provide therapy for the diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from respiratory diseases, compromises, or illnesses. The position grants full access to patient health information and may allow access to medication storage areas, excluding controlled substances, as related to job responsibilities.

Requirements

• Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Director and/or Assistant Director of Respiratory Care.
• Access patient health information as required.
