The Staff Therapist is responsible for the performance of all therapeutic respiratory care procedures for patients of all age populations, human resources management and quality control to insure the continued achievement of the patient care philosophy of Hamilton Medical Center.

  • Perform all therapeutic respiratory care procedures for patients of all age populations.
  • Manage human resources related to the respiratory care department.
  • Ensure quality control to maintain the patient care philosophy.
  • Associate of Science in Respiratory Technology.
  • BLS CPR certification required.
  • Respiratory Care Professional license issued by the State of Georgia.
  • RRT credential; if new graduate, RRT credential must be obtained within 6 months of initial hire date.
  • Graduate from AMA school of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Experience in Adult and Neonatal Critical Care.
  • General familiarity with routine respiratory therapy.
