To be responsible for the delivery of respiratory care, including pulmonary endoscopy, pulmonary function testing, pulmonary exercise and metabolic testing, upper airway mechanics, discharge planning, patient education, medical gas therapy, medicated aerosol therapy, blood gas sampling, non-invasive monitoring, patient assessments, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management. Staff member will be trained in hyperbaric medicine as an attending inside the multi-place chamber. This position has on-call assignments. Respiratory Therapists must be a graduate of a Commission of Accreditation Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved program. Employment is subject to physical exam and a successful test hyperbaric dive.
