About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist CRT/RRT position is a PRN role focused on providing respiratory care to patients. The therapist is expected to demonstrate a solid knowledge and working proficiency in respiratory care practices, procedures, and techniques, and is responsible for the patients assigned to their care. The position requires working during the first shift on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited program for Respiratory Care.
• NBRC Certification (CRT/RRT) required.
• Active Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner License required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification due within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification due within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients as assigned.
• Demonstrate proficiency in respiratory care practices and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant certifications and licenses.
