About The Position

Using service excellence standards, addresses the needs of patients. Participates in educational activities and departmental meetings. Documents and maintains records or charts and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Performs all procedures according to policy and procedure. Organizes workload to ensure therapy is completed as prescribed. Specialty trained -Performs Pulmonary Functions, Spirometer, EKGs, Sleep Watch Program Exercises sound clinical judgment and assessment skills to provide appropriate provision of patient care and monitoring and communicates information to other caregivers as needed. Evaluates patient care and makes recommendations when needed. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Participation in the National Board for Respiratory Care's (NBRC) Continuing Competency Program to maintain credential if received credential after July 1, 2002, required.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Basic Life Support
  • NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist
