About Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19, 1965 as a 200-bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today, Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
- CRT-Respiratory Therapist Certification - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care 90 Days required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire
- LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan 90 Days required
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of their assigned preceptor and/or the license of their Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapy graduate: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders
- participates in the education of patients
- provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care
- assists patients of all ages with acute and chronic illness in returning to a productive life style.
