Requirements

  • Licensed/certified to practice respiratory care by the state in which hospital resides.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Supervisor blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience in cardiopulmonary activities required.

Responsibilities

  • The Respiratory Team Lead provides all duties required of a Respiratory Care Practitioner, as well as provides guidance to the Respiratory Therapy Department in the absence and in conjunction with the Cardiopulmonary Manager.
  • Provides daily direct patient care, while also supervising the assigned shift of Respiratory Care Practitioners.
  • The Respiratory Team Lead provides feedback and recommendation’s to the Cardiopulmonary Manager regrading hiring and work performance of the department personnel.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
