About The Position

Under direction, the Respiratory Care Supervisor, as prescribed by the Medical Staff, is responsible for assessing the age specific needs for each patient. He/She is responsible for performing a full range fo respiratory care procedures and educating patient/family when needed. Direct the daily activities and assignments of the respiratory staff and perform all other duties as requested by management in accordance with established policies and procedures. The employee must understand the age specific communication, development and treatment needs of patients served.

Requirements

• Vocational Training or Associate's degree. Specific course work: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Current State license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist from the Department of Health State of Florida
• Current BLS certification
• 1-2 years Supervisory
• 3-5 years Critical Care

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy
