About The Position

The Sales Representative at VieMed Healthcare is a field-based role focused on business development and clinical sales within the home respiratory health care industry. The representative will work closely with healthcare decision-makers to facilitate the transition of patients from hospital to home, ensuring effective management of respiratory care. This position emphasizes building relationships with referral sources and leveraging clinical expertise to promote VieMed's disease management program and respiratory products.

Requirements

  • Must have established relationships with Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Hospitalist physicians within the territory.
  • Must provide three informal letters of recommendation from Pulmonologist.
  • Must have a current, valid state driver's license with a clean driving record and own reliable transportation.
  • A proven track record of successful sales experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Two or more years of demonstrated full life cycle healthcare sales experience.
  • Two or more years of experience as a Clinical Liaison, preferably within the LTACH level of care.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous marketing and/or LTACH marketing experience.
  • Previous clinical/clinical liaison experience preferred with demonstrated skills in clinical patient assessment.
  • Formal sales training preferred.
  • Clinical Licensure Preferred (RT, RRT, CRT, RCP, RN, LPN).

Responsibilities

  • Market VieMed's disease management program to potential and existing referral sources.
  • Develop sales territory action plans and call strategies to maintain ongoing business with current accounts.
  • Coordinate and provide educational presentations and in-services for healthcare providers.
  • Responsible for account activity, sales documentation, reports, and territory management.
  • Partner with clinical, managerial, and sales staff to promote home respiratory therapy services.
  • Work with office staff to ensure prompt and accurate billing and documentation of services.
  • Maintain a level of performance that meets or exceeds sales quotas.
