About The Position

Deliver Expert Care - Administer oxygen therapy, medications, and bronchial hygiene treatments to help patients breathe easier and recover faster. Be a Critical Lifeline - Provide airway maintenance, including endotracheal intubation, and expertly manage mechanical ventilation (both invasive and non-invasive). Assess & Act - Evaluate each patient's condition and tailor care plans to address urgent and evolving respiratory needs. Educate & Empower - Teach patients how to manage chronic lung conditions, giving them the tools to improve their quality of life. Work at the Frontline of Emergencies - Serve on Rapid Response, Code Blue, and Trauma Teams, bringing calm expertise to high-pressure situations. Support Specialized Procedures - Acquire and analyze arterial blood gases, assist with bronchoscopies, and ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (or equivalent)
  • Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Strong clinical judgment
  • Ability to operate respiratory equipment safely and effectively
  • Comfort working across diverse patient populations

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience in the field is preferred
