About The Position

The Respiratory Nurse at Reedy River Post Acute is responsible for providing direct, compassionate care to residents with respiratory issues. Requirements

• Nursing licensure in South Carolina
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Strong understanding of the respiratory system
• Familiarity with respiratory illnesses and devices used to treat them
• Ability to take call every Friday and one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Treat problems related to residents' lungs and breathing.
• Work closely with the facility physician to diagnose and monitor respiratory conditions.
• Provide direct, compassionate care to residents by ensuring their care plans are carried out appropriately.
• Supervise nursing assistants to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.
