About The Position

UC Health is hiring a PRN Respiratory Limited Permit Holder for the respiratory therapy department for a varied shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The Respiratory Limited Permit Holder, under general supervision, delivers non-critical patient care services to all age groups using selected invasive and noninvasive techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system. Duties performed will be based on the following: Approval of the Respiratory Care Board in accordance with the licensure act of the respective state. Must be checked off to perform duties by department orientation representative or department manager. Responsible for the performance of other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Respiratory Limited Permit.
• Approval from the Respiratory Care Board in accordance with state licensure act.
• Ability to deliver patient care services under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver non-critical patient care services to all age groups.
• Utilize selected invasive and noninvasive techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system.
• Perform duties as approved by the Respiratory Care Board.
• Complete department orientation and be checked off by a representative or manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
