Under the direction of the Manager for Respiratory Services the Respiratory Equipment Tech is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels for all equipment and supplies used by the department. This job will include removing small oxygen and air compressed cylinders and resupplying full tanks at the appropriate par levels in designated areas throughout the hospital. Clean and pre check all necessary Respiratory equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited respiratory program and completed first semester of clinical rotations.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Will not be able to work as a Respiratory Equipment Tech if for any reason may become ineligible for an accredited respiratory therapy program or licensure

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred, is a student who is currently enrolled in a respiratory therapist program and has completed more than one semester and/or other medical experience.
