About The Position

Great Opportunity for a Respiratory Equipment Aide to join a growing Respiratory team here at the Danbury hospital. This is a part time role for RESPIRATORY STUDENTS or GRADUATES in RESPIRATORY to learn and interact with a dynamic team. 4 hour shifts to work around a school schedule. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Equipment set up including ventilators, non-invasive devices, heated high flows.
  • Complete safety checks on devices upon set up.
  • Assure Joint Commission and DPH requirements met regarding covering all equipment as ready for use.
  • Manage equipment storage areas and report PAR levels of special order equipment to Clinical Supervisor/Manager.
  • Deliver equipment to patient care areas as needed and upon request by Respiratory Staff.
  • Assure active communication with charge therapist to meet the needs of the shift.
  • Other responsibilities as requested by Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Educator/Manager.
