About The Position

Organization: EMC - Eden Medical Center Position Overview: Assesses, provides and documents respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices. Performs tasks which require a substantial amount of scientific knowledge and technical skill. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Other: Graduate of accredited 2 year program in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of accredited 1 year program and successful completion of special skills assigned by Director of Cardiopulmonary Department. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner OR CRTT-Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Familiarity with usual equipment and Therapy used in Respiratory Care.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited 2 year program in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of accredited 1 year program and successful completion of special skills assigned by Director of Cardiopulmonary Department.
- RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner OR CRTT-Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
