About The Position

Join Emory Healthcare (EHC) if you’re looking for an opportunity with one of the nation's leading Atlanta hospitals in cardiology and heart surgery, cancer, neurology, and more! Work with us to improve the quality of life throughout Georgia through partnerships with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Georgia Institute of Technology, and other organizations and make a bigger, greater impact than you ever thought possible. Emory Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (ELTACH) is a specialized facility focused on providing care for patients with serious, complex medical conditions that require extended hospital stays. These patients often need ongoing, intensive care after leaving a traditional hospital but are not yet well enough to transition to rehabilitation or home care. ELTACH treats about 400 patients a year with an average 30-day length of stay, 95% of whom come directly from an ICU setting and 65% of whom come in on a ventilator. Indeed, the acuity level at ELTACH is one of the highest in the nation.
