The Transport Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for the assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport of patients with acute and chronic illnesses. This role involves ensuring the delivery of clinically appropriate procedures within the scope of practice of a RCPII, as prescribed by the medical physician responsible for the transport. The practitioner will primarily transport patients via ground ambulance or air transport to and from referring centers and inter-facility, while maintaining competency and participating in on-shift and/or on-call coverage.
