About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join their team, caring for a diverse patient population. The role is suitable for candidates with prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learn. Requirements

  • Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
  • Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada
  • For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred
  • Preferably an associate degree (for hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases)

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals
  • Maintains all equipment in working order
  • Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
