About The Position
We are looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Requirements
- Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
- Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
- Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada
- High school diploma (for hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases)
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
- Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred
- Associate degree (for hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases)
Responsibilities
- Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals
- Maintains all equipment in working order
- Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested
